What is Metaleeto?

Metaleeto is a comic strip written and drawn by Ross Vincent (aka Me). It is a regular piece in the comics section of the University of Alberta’s campus newspaper, The Gateway. I decided to post my comics online and turn it into a regular webcomic to reach a wider audience, give current readers the ability to see all the past strips, and allow me to add new stuff when school is out.

Who is Metaleeto?

Metaleeto is a superhero in some unspecified city that likely doesn’t exist. His superpower is the ability to manipulate and control any piece of metal shaped like and “O” or circle. His real name is Ringo de Circlé, owner of a fine jewelry store specializing in rings.

What kind of Superpower is that?

An awesome one! It’s akin to how Green Latern cannot control yellow things. It’s a gimmicky premise that makes for good stories.

When do you add new comics?

Until I get my site design ironed out, I’m not sure. I’m gunning for updates every thursday.

What can I do to help?

I’m an insecure person at heart, so I encourage all visitors to Metaleeto.com to comment on my strips.  It’s the only way I can know if people are reading and enjoying the comic, and that in turn spurs me to continue drawing it. So please, let me know what you think!
